Au Pavillon de la pomme ( Mont-Saint-Hilaire, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Cook. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Day, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work on a farm.
• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
