Uptown Lounge is situated in Charlottetown, PE and is hiring a Cook to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
• The candidate should work in a bar to prepare and serve drinks to customers in liquor-licensed premises such as bars, nightclubs, hotels, and restaurants.
