Sushi Garden in Burnaby, BC is inviting applications for the position of Cook. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
