WISEMAN MECHANICALS INC. in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Construction trades helper. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
