Construction operations manager

Peridot Systems Ltd. is situated in Vancouver, BC and is hiring a Construction operations manager to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate subcontractor activities.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
• The candidate must plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress.
• The candidate must prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
• The candidate must establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
• The candidate must read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• The candidate must plan and manage budgets.
• The candidate must direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
• The candidate must develop and implement quality control programs.
• The candidate must develop risk management plans.
• The candidate must oversee the analysis of data and information.
• The candidate must prepare reports.
• The candidate must plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
