Construction labourer

New View Designs by Laurie Cole Inc. in Fredericton, NB is inviting applications for the position of Construction labourer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work on a construction site.
