Construction helper

Balodis Inc ( Westville, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Construction helper. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
• The candidate must assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
