Construction helper

Golden Dreamhouse Siding & Construction Ltd. in Langford, BC is seeking a self-motivated Construction helper. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Early morning, Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
• The candidate must help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
