Construction helper

D&T Excavation Ltd ( Mission, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Construction helper. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must pave and rake asphalt.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

• The candidate must work on a construction site.
