GREAT MANN CONSTRUCTION LTD in Delta, BC is seeking a self-motivated Construction helper. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
