Construction helper

FLOWER CITY LANDSCAPING & PROP in Brampton, ON is seeking a self-motivated Construction helper. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must perform pre-operational inspections.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate cranes.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must pave and rake asphalt.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
