Concrete forms carpenter

Structural Precast Ltd in Claresholm, AB is seeking a self-motivated Concrete forms carpenter. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
• The candidate must work in a commercial setting that fosters a workforce of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
• The candidate should work in an institution, the purposive action of individuals and organizations aimed at creating, maintaining, and disrupting institutions.
• The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
• The candidate must work in agriculture to cultivate crops, manage soil and irrigation, and maintain productive and sustainable farming operations.
