Concrete finisher

Kiba Contracting Ltd in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Concrete finisher. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dependable.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
