Tennis For Life in Coquitlam, BC is seeking a self-motivated Coach, tennis. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate competitive programs.
• The candidate must develop well-planned competitive schedules and programs.
• The candidate must perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems.
• The candidate must plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions.
• The candidate must motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games.
• The candidate must analyze and evaluate athletes’ or teams’ performance.
• The candidate must observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and performance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in tennis programs to coach, train, or organize sporting activities and events.
• The candidate must work in a private company, corporation, or industry.
