CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

A. Malo ltée ( Joliette, QC) is currently looking for a skilled CNC (computer numerical control) machinist. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day, Overtime available, , 07:00 to 16:45.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
