Mahoney's Evergreens L.P. is situated in Springfield, NS and is hiring a Christmas tree shearer to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must shear Christmas trees.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
