RASHPAL SANDHU in Manotick, ON is seeking a self-motivated Child caregiver - private home. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.
• The candidate must help children with homework.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
