KSM inc in Tring-Jonction, QC is inviting applications for the position of Chemical unit foreman/woman. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must identify and document potential environmental and safety problems.
• The candidate must investigate reported potential environmental and safety problems.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must provide information for maintenance plans to ensure production objectives are met.
• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must oversee the safety of operations.
• The candidate must set up machines and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
