Chemical laboratory analyst

Cropland Solutions Inc in Tofield, AB is seeking a self-motivated Chemical laboratory analyst. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct or assist in air and water quality testing.
• The candidate must conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques.
• The candidate must conduct tests and analyses using physical and chemical separation techniques.
• The candidate must conduct tests and analyses using spectroscopy techniques.
• The candidate must maintain laboratory equipment.
• The candidate must operate laboratory apparatus.
• The candidate must set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses.
• The candidate must compile records for analytical studies.
• The candidate must be familiar with MS Office applications.
• The candidate must assist in developing sampling and analysis programs to maintain quality standards.
• The candidate must assist in the development of standards and health and safety measures.
• The candidate must compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results.
• The candidate must assist in the design and fabrication of experimental apparatus.
• The candidate must develop and conduct sampling and analysis programs.
• The candidate must prepare solutions of gases or liquids, reagents and sample formulations.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
