EAT BKK THAI KITCHEN ( North York, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Chef. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the amount and costs of supplies and food items.
• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must create new recipes.
• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
• The candidate must plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must lead and instruct individuals.

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
