Traiteur I Sapori Catering Inc. in Montréal, QC is seeking a self-motivated Chef. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze operating costs and other data.
• The candidate must create new recipes.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
• The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
• The candidate must plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
• The candidate must supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.
• The candidate must plan and manage budgets.
• The candidate must maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate should work in decoration delivery, banquet arrangement, table setup, and menu design and preparation in a catering firm.
