Sidebar Grill is situated in Langley, BC and is hiring a Chef to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must analyze operating costs and other data.
• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
