Ashton Chartered Professional Accountants in Hay River, NT is seeking a self-motivated Chartered accountant (CA) student. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, , 08:30 to 17:00 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
• The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.
• The candidate must prepare income tax returns from accounting records.
• The candidate must examine accounting records.
• The candidate must provide financial, business, and tax advice.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a private company, corporation, or industry.
• The candidate must work in an accounting firm to manage financial records, perform audits, and provide accounting and advisory services.
• The candidate should work in the private sector in any office or work area that is not open to the public in the ordinary course of business except by individual invitation.
