Chair-side assistant - dental

Ocean Periodontal & Dental Implant Centre in Richmond, BC is inviting applications for the position of Chair-side assistant - dental. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must order dental and office supplies as required.
• The candidate must prepare dental instruments and filling materials.
• The candidate must sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
• The candidate must educate patients concerning oral hygiene.
• The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
• The candidate must record dental procedures performed on patients.
• The candidate must invoice patients for dental services.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
