Certified dental assistant

Pacific Dental Centre ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Certified dental assistant. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare patients for dental examinations.
• The candidate must prepare dental instruments and filling materials.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.
• The candidate must sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
• The candidate must educate patients concerning oral hygiene.
• The candidate must polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant.
• The candidate must perform intra-oral duties.
• The candidate must take and develop X-rays.
• The candidate must record dental procedures performed on patients.
• The candidate must fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a dental practice to assist with patient care, support dental procedures, manage records, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• The candidate must work in an independently owned business to manage operations, serve customers, and ensure business success.
