Now hiring: Cement finisher at Stonelife Landscaping Inc. in Concord, ON. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
• The candidate must fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
