Job Description

The candidate must repair cable signals.
The candidate must inspect operation of telecommunications equipment.
The candidate must install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
The candidate must determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
The candidate must instruct apprentices.
The candidate must operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
The candidate must determine work assignments.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
