Cellular telephone technician

Mobilesnap is situated in Edmonton International Airport, AB and is hiring a Cellular telephone technician to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must inspect operation of telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
• The candidate must test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults.
• The candidate must analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
• The candidate must complete and maintain test and service reports.
• The candidate must determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
• The candidate must install electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications central offices and switching centres.
• The candidate must operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
• The candidate must repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
• The candidate must work in testing services to conduct evaluations, perform quality checks, and ensure products, materials, or systems meet established standards and specifications.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate must work in a service environment, performing job duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
