City Avenue Market ( Port Coquitlam, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Cashier, supermarket. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must weigh produce and bulk foods.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must perform data entry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
• The candidate must work in an office.
