City Avenue Market in Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Cashier, supermarket. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must weigh produce and bulk foods.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
