Scholtens in Grand Bay-Westfield, NB is seeking a self-motivated Cashier, customer service. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time. Shift timings include: Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dependable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a gas bar.
• The candidate must work in a confectionery or corner store.
• The candidate should work in a liquor and wine store to provide courteous customer service dealing with the sale of liquor and to know and observe the various state and local regulations.
