Floor clerk - retail

Scholtens ( Grand Bay-Westfield, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Floor clerk - retail. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time opportunity. Work schedule: Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must unpack products received by the store and count, weigh, or sort items.
• The candidate must keep stock clean and in order.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must maintain adequate stock levels.
• The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a convenience store to assist customers, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• The candidate should work in a liquor and wine store to provide courteous customer service dealing with the sale of liquor and to know and observe the various state and local regulations.
• The candidate must work in a gas bar.
