Cashier

Sardis Bottle Depot ( Chilliwack, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Cashier. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Term or contractFull time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a bottle depot to sort, process, and manage bottles and recyclable materials efficiently and safely.
