A STAR DOORS & MOULDINGS LTD ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Carpenter. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
