Captain waiter/waitress

Restaurant Archibald Petit-Champlain ( Québec, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Captain waiter/waitress. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must advise on menu selections.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must supervise other servers and bussing staff.
• The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must receive customer reservations and assign tables.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
