Job Description
- The candidate must operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
- The candidate must instruct apprentices.
- The candidate must study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
- The candidate must trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints.
- The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
- The candidate must apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
- The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- The candidate must repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The candidate must be accurate.
