Cabinetmaker

Richard et Levesque in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, QC is seeking a self-motivated Cabinetmaker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• The candidate must study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
• The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• The candidate must apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• The candidate must repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
