Box maker operator

Cascades Canada ULC in Drummondville, QC is inviting applications for the position of Box maker operator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance.
• The candidate must operate paper converting machines to manufacture products.
• The candidate must set up machines.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must operate a forklift.
• The candidate must inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
