Job Description
- The candidate must arrange the bar area to create attractive displays.
- The candidate must organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
- The candidate must clean the bar area and wash glassware.
- The candidate must provide recommendations on drink selections.
- The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages.
- The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
- The candidate must operate video lottery terminals.
- The candidate must record and balance beverage sales.
- The candidate must store beverage and food products.
- The candidate must order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
- The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
- The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
- The candidate must resolve conflict situations.
