Golfshotz Corner Brook is situated in Corner Brook, NL and is hiring a Bartender to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must arrange the bar area to create attractive displays.
• The candidate must organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
• The candidate must perform short order cooking and food preparation.
• The candidate must clean the bar area and wash glassware.
• The candidate must serve food or snacks.
• The candidate must advise on wine selection.
• The candidate must supervise food and beverage servers and other staff.
• The candidate must provide recommendations on drink selections.
• The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must operate video lottery terminals.
• The candidate must record and balance beverage sales.
• The candidate must store beverage and food products.
• The candidate must order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
• The candidate must resolve conflict situations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate must work in an entertainment complex, including music, sports, or gaming facilities, to manage operations, provide services, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for patrons.
• The candidate must work in a lounge or nightclub to manage operations, provide customer service, ensure safety, and support entertainment or hospitality activities.
• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
