Bartender

Carmacks Hotel Limited in Carmacks, YT is seeking a self-motivated Bartender. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean the bar area and wash glassware.
• The candidate must serve food or snacks.
• The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages.
• The candidate must order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
