Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop is situated in Brandon, MB and is hiring a Barber to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must book appointments.
• The candidate must cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• The candidate must shampoo customers’ hair.
• The candidate must shave and trim beards and moustaches.
• The candidate must provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages.
• The candidate must apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair.
• The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, performing hair care services in a well-organized environment and maintaining tools and equipment properly to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
