Bakery clerk

Sheryl's Bakery & Cafe ( Pugwash, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Bakery clerk. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, , 07:00 to 16:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
