Del's Pastry Limited in Etobicoke, ON is inviting applications for the position of Baker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must feed and unload processing machines.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• The candidate must assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a large volume bakery; bakers bake and sell fresh baked goods throughout the day and night, sometimes on weekends.
• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
