Salu Salo in North York, ON is inviting applications for the position of Baker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must prepare special orders.
• The candidate must supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
• The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• The candidate must draw up production schedules.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
