Okanagan Bake House in Vernon, BC is inviting applications for the position of Baker helper. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must feed and unload processing machines.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
