Silk Cat Automotive in North Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Automotive service technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must road test motor vehicles.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• The candidate must coach and instruct apprentices.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.
