Freight forwarding technician

Novalink Logistics Inc in Richmond, BC is seeking a self-motivated Freight forwarding technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must compile orders and instructions received from customers.
• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
• The candidate must track and complete work orders.
• The candidate must perform routine clerical duties.
• The candidate must perform general office duties.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must follow up on issues with work orders.
• The candidate must keep track of shipments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in freight forwarding to coordinate shipments, manage logistics, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• The candidate must work in a head office to manage administrative tasks, coordinate operations, and support organizational goals.
