Automotive service technician

Capital Ford Lincoln Inc. is situated in Regina, SK and is hiring a Automotive service technician to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must road test motor vehicles.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
