Automotive repair and service shop supervisor

Transforce Auto Repair & Towing Ltd. ( Langley, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Automotive repair and service shop supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
